Eliot Brais is the founding partner at The Law Offices of Eliot T. Brais with nearly 30 years of trial experience in the Massachusetts state and federal courts. Eliot is of counsel with Brais Law Firm.
Eliot was inspired by his father, Ronald A. Brais, who practiced law for 40 years. Eliot joined his father’s estate planning and business law firm in 1988 and expanded his practice to real estate and criminal defense. He ultimately handled more than 1,000 criminal cases and took 75 criminal cases to verdict.
Eliot excelled in the courtroom, a skill he now devotes exclusively to helping injured clients recover. He applies his substantial knowledge of estate planning to assist grievously injured clients plan for their lifelong medical and cost-of-living needs. He uses estate planning instruments to ensure that a large settlement agreement does not jeopardize Social Security Disability benefits and to protect the interests of minors, spouses or other dependents who have lost their loved ones.
