What is Medical Malpractice?
A medical malpractice claim really amounts to negligence on the part of a doctor. Given every particular procedure, there are protocols that are to be followed, they need to be followed. If they’re not followed then the likelihood is there’s been a breach of care or substandard care provided to a particular patient. Maybe the tools were not sterilized as they should have been, maybe the appropriate testing that should’ve been done to appropriately diagnose a condition wasn’t done, maybe there was a misdiagnosis of the condition. Industry-wide within the medical profession, the procedure should’ve been done a certain but for some reason, it wasn’t.
All of these things can lead to a medical malpractice claim, claims in which we have dealt with for the better part of our career during 30 years in claims we can help with.
